New board director appointment
VSL Marine Technology Pvt. Ltd. is delighted to announce that we have expanded the Board of directors with Dr. Pinaac Makwana (Ph.D) being appointed as Technical Director. Dr. Makwana is a proficient marine technologist with exhaustive design, operational and R&D experience. He is a certified member of the institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST). His input from a technical perspective will be hugely significant as we plan the next phase of the business’ growth and expansion. He will be assisting the business on a strategic level as well as pushing the company forward on a technical front.

VSL Marine now has done projects for the Visual Effects (VFX) industry by capturing and remodelling scenes and landscapes. We have completed 2 projects for a leading VFX company in India in which a landscape was captured using our Faro X330 laser scanner and images were captured using a drone and DSLR cameras to generate a detailed 3D model of the landscape.
After completion of another 5 Laser scanning projects in 2019, VSL Marine Technology Pvt. Ltd. has now acquired its own state-of-the-art Faro X330 3D Laser scanner.
VSL Marine Technology Pvt. Ltd. is now a Trained Engineering Partner of Alfa Laval PureBallast with full insight on all aspects of the PureBallast system and its design, installation and operation.
